I really appreciate this video. Moving soon to ten acres of wooded land in NE Texas. This reinforces the visions I have of doing something with the trees I will need to cut down. Lots of oak and hickory, plus cedar and dogwood, among others. I hate to see a wasted tree. I recently brought back a live sequoia from California. In about 2,000 years, I may have the largest tree in Texas. How would you like to get a hold of that, Michael?

Went to the Woodworkers show in Milwaukee February 6th and they had the LT15 Woodmizer demonstrating this. During the weekend they cut three nice Red Oak logs . . . and I was the fortunate guy who asked what they do with the wood they cut at the show. It is now all in my garage!! Wonderful saw, wonderful wood, wonderful prospect ahead of me when it reaches the right humidity to start playing with it all!

That's a great video. I love seeing a massive tree like that get sliced up. Something therapeutic about it. Woodmizer looks amazing. One day, maybe a side business like that would be fun. Now I'm about to surf their site to see how much a Woodmizer is. Who says you can't have every power tool!??!? Thanks for the vid!

Had a sawyer come to my house to cut three 10' maple log from a family treee. (Kids grew up on that tree. Swing set, fort, big adventures). Now when a woodworking project arrives at a birthday or Christmas - something made from the "tree" the "kids" are thrilled! BTW I see the hearing protection, but where is the eye protection?
