How to build a neat little picture frame box out of scrap wood. You can make this in a day or two and it makes a great gift. This is part 1 of a 3 part series.

Steve:
Thanks for the video. I couldn't find rubber bands but I had an old motorcycle innertube cut in a small strip. Seems to work for me. Is there a trick to stretching the bands after the glue is applied?

Steve:
How thick are the magnets you use for the frame? And how long are the hinges and where did you get them?
I am seriously considering making the frames for this year's Christmas gifts.
Thanks for the info.

Hey Steve I love your final polish on the chess board. I'm studying your projects and I'm learning
so much. Great, Steve keep the videos coming. I lived in S.F. married a girl from north beach, her
brother lived in Marin. Well thanks again.

Steve's fingers get a little close to the blade in a couple of places in this video. He does use a clever offset fence when ripping the small stock that gives his hands more room. But, as always: use your own best judgement; use guards wherever and whenever possible; and by all means, don't perform any tasks that make you feel unsafe or uncomfortable.

I am retired for the past 16 years. After a year of nothing I began trying to learn woodworking. Now I am fairly proficient at most things. My projects range from keychains to home entertainment centers. My shop is well equipped,(I am a tool junkie), and like most woodworkers I know, I need a bigger shop.
